Internships
June 8, 2026 - August 3, 2026
This internship is designed to help young adults explore what serving in a church is like. Anyone who is a Christian and has an interest in potentially serving in ministry in the future is encouraged to apply. Generally, these internships are for those who have completed high school. Exceptional incoming high school seniors may be considered.
Each intern will be assigned a ministry director based on their interests and passions. That director will assign duties appropriate for the level of training, skill, and capacity of the intern.
Additionally, all interns will complete weekly prayer projects and readings on the topic of calling and vocation.
Interns will begin the summer by completing a self-assessment about what experiences he/she would like to have that summer. The intern is then responsible to work with their supervisor and Pastor Bob to make a plan to accomplish these things.
All interns will assist with VBS.
Pastoral Residency (2 years)
Our ideal Pastoral Resident is someone who is looking forward to a local church pastoral vocation in the next couple of years. He might currently be a seminary student or looking to become a seminary student.
We would like you to be at Sunday worship every week (except vacation Sundays) and to be at the weekly staff meeting on Tuesday afternoons.
The main responsibility of the Pastoral Resident will be to lead the College Ministry which currently meets Thursday Nights.
This is a part-time position of 20-25 hours per week. This is because we anticipate the Pastoral Resident having other responsibilities, such as seminary or other work.
